Similar to the standard for dwarf rootstocks, Malling 9, this root is about 30 to 35 percent of standard. It is extremely precocious, with crops setting as early as the second leaf. Geneva® 41 is resistant to woolly apple aphid and apple replant disease. Geneva® 41 is also less susceptible to fireblight than M 9.
